Based on Bloom’s Taxonomy and new research-based adaptations to the digital age, I created this chart to help teachers determine the best Web 2.0 tools to use in the classroom.

My extreme over-simplification of the options depicted is for a good reason. Cognitive overload is a problem for today’s digital teachers as new Web 2.0 apps appear on the cyber scene every day.

Therefore, I have chosen some free tools that are simple to use and easy to learn and useful to students and staff alike, as they continue navigating their digital future. Click on the image to enlarge it.
